As founder, I ask myself every day where we as an organization fit within this world, does the world benefit from our existence, do we add something to people’s lives? We believe we do.

Creating an intelligent and equal labor market

The story of Recrout begins in 2011 when founder Karim Akhlal, working as a mediator at the time, found it increasingly difficult to select reasoned new hires. Existing systems had no focus on an objective process, but mainly on storing and processing old-fashioned resumes.

 

After the umpteenth frustration of making choices based primarily on gut feeling, he decided to change course. The matching between people and organization had to change.

 

It was the start of a brand new way of thinking. Together with various partners, several concepts were launched with success. For example, the Recrout matching platform was nominated the best recruitment tool in the Netherlands.

 

Our goal remains to create an intelligent and objective labor market where talents and competencies are the most important aspects of each candidate, therefore Recrout introduces the successor to the traditional ATS.
